Barclays Bank Delaware announced the appointment of Patrick Wright to the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO). As COO, Mr. Wright will be responsible for all aspects of customer delivery, including strategy and operational leadership. Specifically, he will oversee operations, technology, customer service and quality management. Mr. Wright will jointly report to Barclaycard US Chief Executive Amer Sajed based in Wilmington, Delaware and Barclaycard's global Chief Operating Officer Ian Buchanan, based in London. In his new role, Mr. Wright joins the global Barclaycard COO Executive Committee and the Barclaycard US Executive Committee. Mr. Wright brings more than 25 years of experience in operations and technology leadership. Prior to joining Barclaycard US, he was the founder of Tuyet Consulting, an advisory firm he established to assist financial institutions in maximizing operational resources more effectively.
