AmBank (M) Berhad has extended its coverage with the opening of its latest branch at Lagenda Heights here, its 41st in the northern region. The new branch, the sixth in Kedah and second in Sungai Petani, is to bring banking services closer to the bank's customers in the town.

AmBank (M) Bhd announced that to relocate six of its branches by year-end in an effort to deliver maximum service and comfort to customers. The branch, which has been operating for 19 years at Jalan Melaka Raya 13, is now operating at Jalan Melaka Raya 11. It has a bigger space and five self-service machines to accommodate customers. Three branches in Melaka, Penang and Sabah, had been relocated while three other branches would be relocated soon.

AmBank (M) Bhd has expanded its branch coverage with its 188th branch in Seksyen 31, Kota Kemuning here. Kota Kemuning sports the latest ergonomic branch design which has been planned to maximise customer comfort and service. The bank said that the new bank, with an investment of close to MYR 1 million, provides weekend banking service on the first and last Sundays every month, and offers a full range of products and services such as round-the-clock Electronic Banking Centre (EBC), Automated Teller Machines (ATM), and Cheque and Cash Deposit Machines. The bank added AmBank is identifying suitable locations to open one or two more branches towards the end of the year.
