ThingWorx(TM) announced it has partnered with KORE Telematics to speed the time-to-market for content-rich M2M and Internet-of-Things solutions. Under terms of the agreement, ThingWorx has certified the KORE PRiSMPro(TM) device management portal within its ThingWorx Ready(TM) program, which will in turn bring a fully-connected application development offering to the market which is pre-integrated with M2M data services. By designing cellular and satellite data services from KORE directly into ThingWorx's off-the-shelf development platform, the two companies at once accelerate development and reduce the cost of deployment for M2M solutions in many vertical markets including agriculture, public works, utilities, building and construction, healthcare, public safety and fleet telematics. The new, integrated offering enables customers to: order and manage SIM inventory; automatically provision and manage devices; monitor cellular and satellite data usage; optimize rate plans in global markets; access Radius data about device location and last data session; use advanced troubleshooting tools; create custom reporting; manage bills more intelligently; and take advantage of location-based services.
