The American Cleaning Institute announced that Catherine Ehrenberger and Tom O'Brien are the new leaders of the company board of directors. At its most meeting in Washington, DC, the board elected Ms. Ehrenberger, Vice President, R&D, Quality and Regulatory, Amway, as Board Chair. Mr. O'Brien, Group Vice President and General Manager, Sasol Marketing & Sales, will serve as Vice Chair. The Board also elected as a new Director Kelly Semrau, Senior Vice President, Global Corporate Affairs, Communication & Sustainability, SC Johnson.

Dow Chemical Co. Global Business Group Vice President Neil Carr has been elected to the American Cleaning Institute (ACI) Board of Directors. Carr was elected to fill an existing vacancy and will serve on the ACI Board through January of 2014. The company also elected Rutger Beelaerts, General Manager of Higher Olefins and Derivatives, Shell Chemical LP; and Ed Vlacich, Executive Vice President, National Brands, The Sun Products Corporation to the Board. The terms of the new Board members run through January 2014.
