Optima Fund Management LLC has announced that Dixon Boardman, Founder and Managing Member, has reassumed the role of Chief Investment Officer. Fabio Savoldelli will be leaving to pursue other interests. Mr. Boardman will remain as the Managing Member of Optima and will lead the Asset Allocation and Portfolio Management Committees. In addition, Michael Spelman rejoins Optima as a Managing Director and Sector Head of the Global Macro investment strategy, a role he previously held from December 2005 to March 2009. Michael returns to Optima after three years at Oppenheimer Asset Management where he served as a Senior Director and was responsible for overseeing macro strategies. On the business development side, Alex Sandhaus joined Optima from Deutsche Asset Management at the beginning of the year as a Managing Director.
