George Revington, CEO of Home Meridian International, was elected 2014 chairman of the American Home Furnishings Alliance during the group's 2013 Annual Meeting. Kevin Sauder, president and CEO of Sauder Woodworking, moves to first vice chairman, and Kevin O'Connor, CEO of Samson Marketing, High Point, was elected second vice chairman. Wyatt Bassett, CEO of Vaughan-Bassett, moves to immediate past-chairman of the Board of Directors. All of the new officers will assume their posts on January 1, 2014. American Home Furnishings Alliance, Inc. Elects Wyatt Bassett as Chairman for 2013

Wyatt Bassett, president and CEO of Vaughan-Bassett Furniture, was elected 2013 chairman of the American Home Furnishings Alliance, the industry group announced at its annual meeting. In addition to introducing a slate of new officers, the AHFA also presented its Distinguished Service Award to a former chairman of the association, Paul Toms Jr. of Hooker Furniture. Serving with Bassett as AHFA officers next year will be George Revington, CEO of Home Meridian International, as first vice chairman and Kevin Sauder, president and CEO of Sauder Woodworking, as second vice chairman.
