Foundry certified to 20nm, the AFS Platform delivers nanometer SPICE accuracy 5x-10x faster than traditional SPICE and 2x-6x faster than parallel SPICE simulators. For large circuits the AFS Platform delivers >10M-element capacity and the fastest mixed-signal simulation. For memory and other array-based circuits, AFS Mega(TM) delivers silicon-accurate simulation with >100M element capacity. Cadence Design Systems, Inc. and Berkeley Design Automation, Inc. Reach a Settlement Agreement

Cadence Design Systems, Inc.(Cadence)and Berkeley Design Automation, Inc. (BDA) announced that the companies have reached a settlement agreement in the case filed by Cadence against BDA last year. As part of the settlement, BDA and Cadence signed a multi-year agreement to support interoperability between BDA's Analog FastSPICE(TM) (AFS) Simulator and Cadence's Virtuoso(R) Analog Design Environment (ADE) through Cadence's OASIS interface, and BDA has agreed to pay Cadence an undisclosed amount.
