On October 28, 2011, AloStar Bank of Commerce announced that it named Donald Jordan CFO of the bank. Jordan was most recently the senior vice president, manager of financial analytics at IBERIABANK Corp.
AloStar Business Credit opened an office in New York and appointed five senior executives. AloStar Business Credit, the asset-based lending arm of Birmingham, Ala.-based AloStar Bank of Commerce, said Oct. 19 that it opened an office in New York and appointed five senior executives. Richard Bochicchio joins AloStar as managing director. He was formerly the managing director and co-founder of Seaward Partners LLC in Stamford, Conn. Allan Marzen joins as a director. He was most recently a first vice president and business development officer at First Niagara Financial Group Inc. Bochicchio and Marzen will lead the New York office for AloStar. Mark Buren joins the company as a director. He was most recently the vice president for purchase order finance for Wells Fargo & Co. unit Wells Fargo Capital Finance LLC. Scott Simmons, who also joins as a director, will lead business development in the Texas region. He was most recently the senior vice president of business development for First Capital Corp. John Todd joins AloStar as a director. He was most recently vice president of business development at First Capital.
