Community Capital Management, Inc. announced the availability of its new open ended, mutual fund - the CCM Alternative Income Fund - a multi-strategy fund combining absolute-return-oriented and income-producing strategies. CCMNX was launched in May, 2013 in an effort to meet conservative yield conscious investors demands. Community Capital Management, Inc. Appoints David Sand as Chief Investment Strategist; Expands to Northeast

Community Capital Management, Inc. announced that David Sand has joined the firm as Chief Investment Strategist. He will primarily focus on business development and creating new products to meet the needs of existing and future clients. Sand brings more than 30 years of investment management experience and is a trailblazer in the socially responsible/impact investing arena. Most recently, he worked as a consultant to Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), non-profits and social enterprises. Before that, he served as chief investment officer of CDT Advisors, the investment management arm of the Community Development Trust. The company also announced that Chief Investment Strategist, David Sand will open a new Boston office, enabling the firm to expand its presence in the northeast.

Community Capital Management, Inc. Announces Management Changes

Community Capital Management, Inc. announced that Barbara VanScoy has been named to the new position of chief impact investment officer (CIIO). This change better reflects Barbara's role in managing the company's Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and impact investment efforts. CCM also announced the hire of Cayce Shawn, an experienced mortgage-backed securities (MBS) trader previously with Mesirow Financial. Shawn will be based in the firm's Weston, Florida office. He will report to Rogers and will primarily be responsible for trading of the firm's MBS. Shawn joined Mesirow in 1997 working his way up to senior vice president and brings a wealth of experience in trading, management and trading technology.
