The Corbett administration has again extended the deadline for considering a bid for Pennsylvania Lottery, LLC by Camelot Global Services of Camelot Group plc. The bid from Camelot Global Services, which was expected to expire on January 10, 2013 is being extended by one day, administration officials announced. Camelot Global Services has given bid of $34 billion for the privatization of management of Pennsylvania Lottery, LLC.

Pennsylvania Department of Revenue announced that Camelot Group plc is the sole bidder for Pennsylvania Lottery, LLC (PA Lottery). Camelot's bid is valid until December 31, 2012. Revenue Secretary Dan Meuser said, "The receipt of a priced bid represents an important milestone in this process, which began last April. While there are several additional steps before we'll be prepared to make a final decision, this is a proposal that warrants a complete and detailed review, and it is encouraging to see the potential private manager propose 20 years of significant profit growth."

HR Owen chief executive Andy Duncan is to leave the luxury car retailer at the end of the month to join Camelot Group plc as managing director.
