GT Nexus, Inc. Key Developments
GT Nexus, Inc. announced that footwear provider Deckers Outdoor Corporation has selected the GT Nexus platform to enhance supplier collaboration and obtain visibility into the movement of products and payments from order through delivery and settlement. The cloud-based platform will eliminate manual processes, paper and spreadsheets to streamline supply management processes. GT Nexus will replace EDI and point-to-point solutions with a multi-enterprise network solution that connects external parties and ties back into Deckers's ERP system for real-time updates into performance across the physical and financial supply chains. Deckers will benefit from clear visibility into inventory, including more accurate dates for goods available to promise.
GT Nexus, Inc. announced that it has been selected by Electrolux to provide a cloud technology platform that will automate the closed loop global freight spend management process for the appliance manufacturer. Delivered as a service over the Internet, the platform will optimize the entire purchase-to-pay life cycle for air and ocean transportation. The GT Nexus Transportation Sourcing capabilities add standardization and partner collaboration into the end-to-end spend management process from initial procurement, through allocation optimization, contract management, freight audit and final payment. A business intelligence layer sits on top of the information platform that provides Electrolux with advanced analytics and real-time performance monitoring dashboards.
GT Nexus, Inc. announced that it has been selected by TOMS to provide the cloud supply chain technology platform to support global sourcing and import operations at the company. TOMS will use the technology platform to manage multiple distribution channels, including retail customers, online and the company's giving partner program that supports its One for One model, which ensures a child in need receives a new pair of shoes for every pair purchased. The platform will automate what is currently a manual set of processes that TOMS uses with suppliers, including order management, invoicing and payment. Carton label generation will automate the receiving process at global distribution centers, supporting a supply chain that delivers to over 50 countries. GT Nexus will serve as a key supply chain information repository that all partners operate against, which will drive efficiency and cost effectiveness across the TOMS supply and distribution networks.
