Rosoboronexport Signs Five Agreements with Italian Companies

Rosoboronexport has signed five new agreements on Thursday at MAKS- 2013 for projects in the field of special aircraft with two Italian firms: Finmeccanica and OMASUD, said the Company’s press service. Two agreements with Selex (Finmeccanica) are directed for proper operation of Be-200 and An-140-100 equipped with radio electronic complexes produced by Selex Electronics System S.p. A (Finmeccanica) and planned for export to third countries. The third Agreement covers delivery of Topaz-M ground complex for flight data processing manufactured by NPP Topaz to third countries. The fourth Agreement of joint production of new modification of amphibian aircraft Be-103, intended for special divisions, was signed with Selex Electronics System S.p. A (Finmeccanica) and OMA SUD S.p.A. The fifth Agreement signed with OMA SUD S.p.A. The Agreement is aimed for creation of conditions for joint production of new light amphibian Aircraft on base of Be-112 (up to 20-seat in civil variant), intended for waters patrolling and implementation of other mission.
Rosoboronexport, Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Sign SSJ-100 Purchase Agreement

Rosoboronexport and Sukhoi Civil Aircraft have signed an agreement on delivery of a Sukhoi Superjet 100 plane in the VIP version. The document was signed during the international air show MAKS 2013. SSJ100 VIP is the first VIP aircraft created on the SSJ100 platform. The level of passenger comfort comparable to that on board bigger aircraft in the segment of business aviation, is ensured by the optimal fuselage cut. The SSJ100 VIP is designed for 19 passengers and divided into three functional zones: service, business and a separate office. The plane will be delivered to the customer before yearend and will be used to support Russia's contacts with foreign countries and military technical cooperation.
Rosoboronexport to Supply Mi-17 Helicopters to Cameroon

Rosoboronexport has entered into an agreement during the MAKS international aerospace show to supply Mi-17 multi-purpose helicopters to the Defense Ministry of Cameroon. This is the first defense contract between Russia and Cameroon. Development of cooperation in military equipment supplies with African states is a priority in Rosoboronexport's marketing policy. The company has restored relations with Botswana, Ghana, and Equatorial Guinea over the last year.
