Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) announced sales results for the fiscal year 2014. The company achieved sales turnover of INR 181.5 billion during 2013 to 2014, which is 32% higher than the last fiscal's sales turnover of INR 137.5 billion. The projected unduplicated group turnover of member unions of GCMMF has crossed INR 260 billion, which is also higher by 37% compare to last fiscal.
The company plans to achieve sales turnover of INR 300 billion by 2019-20.
Comfed To Acquire DMS

Bihar State Cooperative Milk Producers' Federation Ltd (Comfed) is also seeking to acquire Delhi Milk Scheme (DMS) after a proposal by Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd. (GCMMF). Harjot Kaur, Managing Director of Comfed, said, "We still have to put a formal business proposal in front of them but the initial stages of negotiations are on. By the end of this month, things will be clearer." GCMMF, which is still in talks with the ministry said that the initial response has been positive and that the two groups are discussing the purchasing offer.

Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd.'s Senior Executive said government is ready to further discuss its the offer to acquire Delhi Milk Scheme (DMS). "There is a positive response from the ministry. We will mutually discuss the purchasing offer now," the executive added.
