SKO Extends Contracts with Comscore and GfK Until 2015

The Dutch TV ratings group SKO has extended two contracts with Comscore and GfK until 2015. Comscore measures online TV use, under the project SKO Web TV, and GfK analyses and presents the data. Under the new contract, the measurements will also cover online-only content, and stricter quality controls will apply. SKO said it has also begun a programme to certify software used to measure online services. This allows online publishers to choose from a range of suppliers when joining the ratings programme. In 2014, SKO also plans projects on online commercials, an online panel and data integration. It aims to agree contracts with market researchers for these by March.
