All newly-appointed leaders have been promoted from within the company. John Havard, former Stratos Vice President of Engineering, has been promoted to Chief Technical Officer. John has played a key role at Stratos for the last seven years in leading the engineering team to its current state of excellence by hiring, mentoring and retaining some of the best talent in the industry. In his new role, John will strategically ensure Stratos' ongoing commitment to superior technical quality for clients, and foster the company's consultative development process. Jessica Urban, former Director of Program Management, has become Director of Business Development where she will oversee strategic account development and sales initiative execution. In her 17 years in product development, Jessica has proven her expertise in building strong collaborative relationships with clients to achieve aggressive cost, schedule and performance goals and exceeding their expectations. Former Lead Project Manager, Don Biszek, has been promoted to Director of Program Management. With 25 years of product development experience in a wide variety of industries, Don brings extensive expertise in project management and consultative client relations. He will be integral in leading Stratos Program Management team to continue to deliver superior program execution for clients. Former Senior Project Manager, Blair Erbstoeszer, has been promoted to Director of Mechanical Engineering where he will oversee Stratos seasoned mechanical and manufacturing engineering teams. Blair has 15 years' experience in product development and has managed and led product development teams in all phases of development, from early R&D efforts and concept generation, to detailed engineering design and analysis, to production release and ramp-up for mass production.

Stratos Product Development Appoints Wallace White as New Director of Point-Of-Care Diagnostics

Stratos Product Development announced it has appointed a Director of Point-of-Care Diagnostics to support its significant involvement in the field of in vitro diagnostics and growing involvement in global health initiatives for emerging markets. Wallace White, formerly the Director of Mechanical Engineering for Stratos, has been promoted to the position. In his new role, Wallace will lead the company's large global POC program and will conduct targeted research, acquire worldwide subject matter expertise, and act as a strategic advisor to the company's clients and internal teams.

Stratos Product Development, LLC announced that it has created three new director positions within its leadership team to support the continual growth of the organization and to better serve client needs. Nick D'Ambrosia joins Stratos as the Director of Software Engineering; Brian Read has been promoted to Director of Electrical Engineering; and Wallace White has been promoted to Director of Mechanical Engineering. The company has also added Lindsey Berdan to its Industrial Design team to lead the firm's User Interaction Design efforts. Nick D'Ambrosia joined Stratos on February 11, 2013. Nick brings over 25 years of product development experience and leadership of large, cross-functional teams. Brian Read was promoted from Lead Electrical Engineer to the Director of Electrical Engineering. As the newly appointed Director of Mechanical Engineering, Wallace White also heads the Manufacturing Engineering team and has been instrumental in Stratos' recent efforts in global health.
