Isolux Corsán, in joint venture with Arezki Group, awarded the construction of a bridge in Gambia, which is the first project the company will develop in the country. The project, with a budget of EUR 51.7 million, mainly involves the construction of a bridge 942 meters long on the Gambia River. At its core, the bridge will allow navigation with a span of 100 meters wide, the foundation will be made with piles up to 48 meters deep and the technical implementation of the deck shall be by cantilevers. The scope of works also includes the construction of 990 meters of access roads, which are located primarily through the adjacent marshes.

Grupo Isolux Corsán, S.A. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2014. For the quarter, the company reported profit attributable to owners of the parent of EUR 10.80 million, compared to EUR 1.66 million for the same quarter ended September 30, 2013. Total operating income was EUR 628.83 million, compared to EUR 608.81 million for the same quarter ended September 30, 2013.

Isolux Corsán Receives over EUR 64 Million Contract for 105 Km Transmission Line in Brazil

Isolux Corsán won the H set comprising a 230 kV and 105 km long transmission line running parallel to the 230kV Linhas Macapa transmission line. The company has a period of 42 months for the construction and commissioning of the line to be appointed as 'Linhas de Laranjal Transmissora Energy'. The project has been awarded by ANEEL, the National Agency of Electric Energy Brazil, with a budget of 200 million reals (more than 64 million euros). Under the name H set, it will join Jurupari substations in the state of Para, and Laranjal, in the state of Amapá. This set includes a 230kV simple circuit transmission line, with an extension of 105 km, whose mission is to safely evacuate power generated in the Santo Antonio do Jarí Hydroelectric Power Plant The line will run parallel to the 230 kV Linhas Macapa transmission line.
