Sprott Asset Management Names Eric Nuttall as Portfolio Manager of Sprott Small Cap Funds

Sprott Asset Management LP announced that Eric Nuttall has been named Lead Portfolio Manager of the Company's small cap funds. Mr. Nuttall replaces Allan Jacobs who is leaving Sprott following a long and successful career as a portfolio manager to spend more time with his family and on his personal interests. Mr. Nuttall will assume responsibility for managing the Sprott Small Cap Equity Fund and the Sprott Small Cap Hedge Fund. Mr. Jacobs has worked closely with Mr. Nuttall to facilitate the transfer of the portfolio management responsibilities for the Funds. The objectives and strategies of the Funds will remain the same.

Sprott Asset Management, LP Names John Wilson as Chief Executive Officer

Sprott Inc. announced that, effective immediately, John Wilson has been named Chief Executive Officer of Sprott Asset Management LP. Mr. Wilson replaces Eric Sprott, who will continue to serve as Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Sprott and Senior Portfolio Manager at SAM. Mr. Wilson joined Sprott Asset Management LP in January 2012 with over 25 years of investment and business experience. Previously, he was CIO at Cumberland Private Wealth Management. Prior to that, he founded DDX Capital Partners.
