Deutsche Bank (China) Co., Ltd Opens its Sub-Branch in China

Dutsche Bank (China) Co Ltd. announced the opening of its sub-branch in China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone (Shanghai Free Trade Zone) after approval from the China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC) on 28 April 2014. This sub-branch is Deutsche Bank China's seventh entity and is expected to complement its existing branches in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Chongqing and Qingdao. The Deutsche Bank (China) Co. Ltd. Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone Sub-Branch will offer a full range of capital market solutions, cash management, and trade finance services, which will focus on serving the needs of corporate and financial institution clients associated with cross-border transactions. Services offered by the new branch include automated RMB cash sweeping for cross-border lending, two way RMB cash pooling, payables/receivables, foreign exchange, interest rate hedging, financial supply chain solutions, structured commodity trade finance, structured trade and export finance, in addition to other financing solutions.

Deutsche Bank (China) Co. Ltd. announced the selection of Anthony Lin as the Head of Corporate Bank (CBC) and Trade Finance & Cash Management for Corporates (TF/CMC) in China. The bank has added that Anthony s appointment has come into effect from last month. In his new role, he will have to steer the lender s expansion plans related to the corporate banking business in China. Anthony, who is Shanghai-based, will report to Oliver Brinkmann, Greater China Head of Capital Markets & Treasury Solutions and Kaushik Shaparia, Asia Pacific Head of Trade Finance & Cash Management for Corporates, for regional operations; and Carl Wegner, Greater China Head of Global Transaction Banking, for local activities.
