Arizona Chemical Reportedly Seeks More Than $1.5 Billion In Sale

Arizona Chemical Company, LLC is reportedly exploring a sale that could value it at over $1.5 billion, including debt, according to people familiar with the matter. Private equity firm, American Securities, the majority owner of Arizona Chemical, has interviewed investment banks in recent weeks to appoint a financial advisor on the sale of the company, the people said this week.

Metaldyne, HHI and Grede To Merge And Go Public

American Securities is under discussions with investment banks about merging Metaldyne, LLC, HHI Group Holdings, LLC and Grede Holdings, LLC and take the combined company public via a subsequent initial public offering at a valuation of around $4 billion including debt, according to people familiar with the matter. American Securities declined to comment while representatives of Metaldyne, HHI and Grede did not respond to requests for comment.

Fairmount Minerals Reportedly Eyes $1 Billion IPO

Fairmount Minerals Ltd. is exploring an initial public offering of around $1 billion, people familiar with the matter said. American Securities holds a controlling stake in Fairmount, which could be valued at more than $6 billion, including debt. Barclays Plc, Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo & Co are likely to lead the IPO of Fairmount Minerals, some of the sources added.
