Lancope, Inc. Unveils New StealthWatch FlowSensor 4000

Lancope, Inc. unveiled the new StealthWatch(R) FlowSensor 4000, delivering massive scalability for service providers and enterprise data centers. Substantially increasing the throughput for the FlowSensor appliance, the 4000 model provides greater visibility and security for large, complex networks, playing a key role in early detection of security incidents, more precise incident response, and better troubleshooting of network and application performance problems. The new appliance is scalable to up to 20 gigabytes of sustained bandwidth based on the customer's environment, application mix and packet sizes. By exporting valuable flow data enriched with application details, the FlowSensor helps the StealthWatch System deliver the comprehensive visibility and actionable intelligence needed to identify a wide range of issues across high-speed data centers -- from security threats to performance slowdowns and compliance violations. The FlowSensor 4000 enables service providers to more easily scale the advanced threat detection capabilities of the StealthWatch System across their entire network to protect both internal and customer environments. With the StealthWatch System, service providers can protect customer networks from damaging DDoS attacks. Pinpoint anomalous network behavior down to the exact customer and application. Quickly detect security threats such as botnets and APTs infiltrating customer networks. Improve network availability and performance. Deliver managed services differentiated by network security.

Lancope Unveils New Version of StealthWatch System for Enhanced Network Visibility, Security Context and Incident Response

Lancope, Inc. unveiled the latest version of its behavioral-based security monitoring platform, StealthWatch(R) System 6.5. The new version delivers enhanced usability and security analytics for unprecedented network visibility and threat detection. Through a new, intuitive web interface and advanced security alarming, StealthWatch System 6.5 makes it easier for organizations to quickly identify and thwart sophisticated attacks that bypass perimeter defenses.

Radware and Lancope Partner to Offer Robust DDoS Protection Solution for Service Providers and Enterprise Networks

Radware and Lancope, Inc. announced that they have partnered in order to offer service providers and enterprises an enhanced attack detection and mitigation solution against Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks. By deploying Lancope's StealthWatch System with Radware's Attack Mitigation Network (AMN) distributed detection layer, Radware's customers enhance their already robust coverage with NetFlow-based traffic statistics and detection. The combined solution will enable service providers and enterprises to detect DDoS attacks in a non-intrusive manner and divert suspicious traffic only to scrubbing centers for attack cleansing. Radware's AMN combines distributed detection and mitigation elements, which are maintained synchronized with legitimate traffic baselines and attack information in real-time. AMN expands the detection coverage across all enterprise resources and automates the mitigation by selecting the most effective tools and locations -- in the data center, at the perimeter or in the cloud. This detection and mitigation solution features stronger investigative workflows than other flow solutions, providing a much more in-depth network picture.
