Dunkin' Brands, Inc. hired John Costello to be chief global customer and marketing officer. Costello will oversee Dunkin' Donuts' strategic worldwide marketing efforts and brand identity. He was previously the executive vice president of merchandising and marketing at Home Depot.

Dunkin' Brands Inc. strengthened its senior management team with the addition of respected consumer and retail industry veteran John Costello to the newly-created position of Chief Global Customer and Marketing Officer. He will join the Dunkin' Brands Executive Leadership Team reporting directly to Dunkin' Brands' Chief Executive Officer Nigel Travis. Mr. Costello will oversee Dunkin' Donuts' strategic worldwide marketing efforts and brand identity, serving as head of the Dunkin' Donuts U.S. marketing team and partnering with the operations team to further drive sales. He will also provide functional direction to the Dunkin' Donuts international marketing team, as well as Baskin-Robbins U.S. and international marketing teams. With John's arrival, Frances Allen, Dunkin' Donuts Brand Marketing Officer, has decided to step down after two years of distinguished leadership.

Dunkin' Brands Inc. has appointed Christine Deputy of Princeton, N.J., as senior vice president, human resources, and Karen Raskopf of Dallas, as senior vice president, corporate communications. Deputy will lead the team responsible for employee recruitment, compensation, benefits, and employee health and wellness at the corporate level. Raskopf will be responsible for all aspects of the company's global public relations. Prior to joining Dunkin', Deputy worked in Hong Kong for Starbucks as the company's vice president, partner resources, Asia Pacific region. Raskopf was a senior vice president of corporate communications for Blockbuster Inc.
