The Irish Stock Exchange reported earnings results for the year 2013. For the year, the company reported pre-tax profits of EUR 7.2 million for 2013, a 15% increase on the EUR 6.3 million it posted in 2012. Revenues were 12% higher at EUR 22.9 million against EUR 20.4 million in 2012, with the increase driven by strong growth in Primary Markets business (in particular from listing debt securities), where revenues grew 17% to EUR 15.4 million and accounted for 67% of total ISE revenues.

The Irish Stock Exchange announced that it plans to create a dedicated exchange for aviation-related debt and other instruments. The exchange will offer a highly efficient, low-cost platform delivering better visibility, greater investor reach and improved market intelligence. The dedicated platform aims to be an international hub for aviation finance assets creating a market that will be enhanced by specialist knowledge of the industry in Irish-based leasing, broking and corporate finance firms.
