Game Ready Announces Complete Line of Wraps for Traumatic Amputation Recovery

Game Ready announced the launch of the complete line of revolutionary wraps designed specifically for patients recovering from traumatic amputation. The line of wraps originally debuted with the Below-Knee wrap in February 2013. All wraps are now available for use with the Game Ready System. The Traumatic Amputee Wraps simultaneously deliver intermittent pneumatic compression and adjustable cold therapy to help treat traumatic amputee patients. Ergonomic designs allows for the best limb fit. The wraps are easily adjustable to enhance comfort and circumferential coverage allows for better surface contact and more effective treatment. The Utility Wrap is designed for both upper and lower extremity application. An optional harness that loops around the waist and fastens to the wrap is available for lower limb application to help secure the wrap in place and avoid slipping during treatment. The new amputee wraps provide all of the same benefits of the original Game Ready therapy devices, which deliver ACCEL(R) Technology (Active Compression and Cold Exchange Loop) through ergonomic, dual-action wraps. Game Ready's patented two-chamber design -- one for air, one for water -- enables the integrated delivery of compression and cold therapy for nearly all body parts. ACCEL Technology proactively aids lymphatic function, encourages cellular oxygen supply and stimulates tissue repair.

Game Ready Launches New Hand/Wrist Wrap

Game Ready announced that it is expanding its robust product line with the launch of their new Hand/Wrist Wrap. The product, which will be available to patients through physician recommendation and by prescription, represents Game Ready's commitment to developing a full line of innovative and optimal therapy for upper extremity acute injuries and post-operative recovery. The Game Ready Hand/Wrist Wrap is designed to simultaneously and conveniently deliver intermittent compression and adjustable cold & compression therapies for hand, wrist and forearm injuries and post-op recovery (trauma, sprains, and fractures). It is comprised of 4 parts: sleeve with optional insulation zones, heat exchanger, base plate, and hand support. The wrap features an adjustable, ergonomic hand support and customizable insulation zones to best fit patients' needs. It is the only active cold and compression wrap of its kind. The new wrap pushes the current hand and wrist wrap technology to a higher level, combining innovative features and integrated coverage for optimal therapy of acute injuries and surgery to the upper extremities.

MSC Group, Inc. and CoolSystems Inc. Partner to Launch New Below-The-Knee Wrap for Amputee Patients

MSC Group, Inc. announced that it has entered a strategic partnership with CoolSystems Inc. to develop and launch a new wrap for traumatic below-the-knee amputee patients. The new Game Ready traumatic amputee wrap incorporates technology that NASA used in the design of astronaut spacesuits. This best-in-class orthopedic medical device will aid in post-operative recovery of patients with below-the-knee amputations. Controlling inflammation and swelling after surgery can allow the body to heal faster. However, conventional techniques, such as ice bags and cold packs, provide inconsistent and uncontrolled temperatures as well as poor coverage of the injured area. Traditional bandage wraps lack precise application of pressure. Game Ready's ACCEL(TM) technology combines active compression and cold therapies that help minimize pain and swelling while increasing blood flow and delivering oxygen to the injured area. As a result, lymphatic drainage is optimized, cellular oxygen supply is encouraged, and tissue healing is stimulated.
