Grafoid Inc. and ProScan RX Pharma Inc. Establishs Calevia Inc. to Develop Non-Invasive Cancer Eradication Therapies

Grafoid Inc. announced the formation of Calevia Inc., a joint venture partnership with ProScan RX Pharma Inc. to develop an entirely new graphene-based nanotechnology platform for the precise targeting and thermal eradication of solid cancer tumors. Calevia will first target prostate cancer using ProScan's anti-PSMA antibody. The platform will be developed subsequently for several solid tumor types.

Grafoid Inc. and University of Waterloo Announce Agreement to Develop High Performance Graphene Electrochemical Energy Systems

Focus Graphite Inc. on behalf of Grafoid Inc. announced the signing of a two-year R&D agreement between Grafoid Inc. and the University of Waterloo to investigate and develop a graphene-based composite for electrochemical energy storage for the automotive and/or portable electronics sectors. Those applications include but are not limited to: electrodes, nanocatalyst support, electrolyte membranes and bipolar plates, transparent electrodes and other potential applications which create high-efficiency solutions in electrochemical energy systems and portable electronics. It follows R&D partnering projects announced with Rutgers University's AMIPP, CVD Equipment Corporation, with Hydro-Quebec's research institute, IREQ, and with British Columbia-based CapTherm Systems, an advanced thermal management technologies developer and producer.
