Avista Capital Holdings, L.P and Nordic Capital are preparing the groundwork for a possible sale or initial public offering (IPO) in 2015 for ConvaTec Healthcare B S.a.r.l., reuters reported citing sources familiar with the matter. Kimberly-Clark Corporation (NYSE:KMB) and 3M Company (NYSE:MMM) are considered likely bidders for ConvaTec. ConvaTec's owners have appointed Morgan Stanley (MS.N) and Goldman Sachs (GS.N) to explore a sale. According to Reuters, ConvaTec, Nordic Capital, 3M, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley declined to comment. Kimberley Clark and Avista Capital did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Armored AutoGroup, Inc. is exploring an initial public offering, according to people familiar with the matter. Avista Capital Holdings, L.P. is in talks with investment banks, including JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM), about the potential offering, the people said this week. Avista may also consider other options for Armored AutoGroup, including an outright sale to another company or private equity firm, or changes to AutoGroup's capital structure, one of the people added. The sources asked not to be identified because the talks are confidential. Avista and Armored AutoGroup declined to comment and a spokeswoman for JPMorgan had no immediate comment, Reuters reported.

The deal is believed to be explored by 2015. ConvaTec Inc. would review any compelling offer that would come before 2015.
