Schneider National Announces Creation of Company-Owned and Managed Chassis Fleet

Schneider National, Inc. has announced an investment in its intermodal service with the creation of a company-owned and -managed chassis fleet. The new equipment is another in a series of investments and improvements that Schneider is deploying to deliver "truck-like" service in the intermodal segment. Schneider's new chassis fleet will help solve a long-lingering issue in the intermodal segment: consistent access to lightweight, quality chassis when and where shippers need them.

Schneider National to Opens A New Facility in Phoenix

Schneider National is opening a new facility in Phoenix and will be adding 200 truck drivers in the state. The new facility, 4044 W. Lower Buckeye Road, is scheduled to open in September and will support Schneider’s growing customer base utilizing its Western Regional service. The new Phoenix location will complement Schneider’s base of operations and customer service in the West, which includes facilities in Fontana, CA; French Camp, CA; North Salt Lake City, Utah and Portland, OR. Schneider’s Western Regional offering serves customers in 11 western states.
