Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia Sdn Bhd Launches Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0 GTE

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia Sdn Bhd launched the new Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0 GTE. Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia announced the car comes with an enhanced premium package, a power sunroof, keyless operation system for true hands-free entry, and an additional driver-side knee airbag for increased safety. The new features found in the Lancer 2.0 GTE are in addition to the standard body kit with integrated daytime running lights, combi-leather interior, and 6.1-inch touch-screen audio with rear view camera. It also come with rain-sensing wipers, auto- headlamps, automatic air conditioning, steering column mounted magnesium paddle shifters and cruise control. The Lancer 2.0 GTE, priced at MYR 115,590.20 on-the-road without insurance, is imported from Japan as a completely built-up unit.

Mitsubishi Malaysia Launches Enhanced Pajero Sport VGT and GL SUVs

Mitsubishi Malaysia launched enhanced models of the Pajero Sport VGT and the Pajero Sport GL sport utility vehicles (SUVs) in Malaysia on 8 October. The VGT model is equipped with a 2.5-litre diesel engine, which produces maximum power of 178 ps at 4,000 rpm and maximum torque of 350 Nm. The GL model offers the same engine displacement, with maximum power of 136 ps at 3,500 rpm and maximum torque of 314 Nm. The VGT model is priced at MYR 172,212 (USD 53,925) on the road without insurance, while the GL model is priced at MYR 151,278. Mitsubishi aims to achieve an annual sales target of 2,000 units for the Pajero Sport 2013, compared with actual sales of 1,200 units in 2012. Mitsubishi is aiming to increase its share of the Malaysian market for full-sized SUVs from the current 5.8% to 7-8%, and the company is confident of achieving this with the launch of the two enhanced Pajero Sport models.
