Odyssey Investment Partners Reportedly Considering Selling Ranpak

Odyssey Investment Partners, LLC is considering sale of Ranpak Corporation that could value the company at close to $1 billion, reported Reuters citing people familiar with the matter. The people said that Odyssey has hired Barclays Plc and Harris Williams & Co to run an auction for Ranpak. Some of the people added that Ranpak has annual earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization of around $90 million. The people asked not to be identified because the process is not public. Odyssey and Barclays declined to comment, while Ranpak and Harris Williams representatives did not respond to requests of Reuters for comment.

Wencor Reportedly Up For Sale

Odyssey Investment Partners, LLC has tapped Harris Williams to help find a buyer for Wencor Group, LLC in a sale that could fetch around $600 million, according to people familiar with the matter, asking not to be identified because the matter is private. Wencor could attract interest from HEICO Corporation (NYSE:HEI) as well as from private equity firms, the people added. According to Reuters, representatives for Odyssey, Wencor, Heico and Harris Williams did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

CIT Provides Financing for Odyssey Investment Partners' Acquisition of L-com

CIT Group Inc. announced that it provided a senior secured credit facility to Odyssey Investment Partners, LLC to support its acquisition of L-com Inc., a global designer and manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products.
