Profit for the year was RMB 4,979 million compared to RMB 3,865 million a year ago.

Ping An Property & Casualty Insurance Company Of China Ltd. announced revenue results for the first ten months of 2011. For the period, the company reported premium revenue of CNY 67.693 billion.

Münchener Rückversicherungs-Gesellschaft announced it has signed a cooperation agreement with Chinese peer Ping An Property & Casualty to provide insurance solutions for the Chinese renewable energy sector. The solutions being developed by the two companies will aim to lower the risk of investing in capital-intensive clean energy projects in China. The first projects and clients for the new solutions have already been identified. No further details have been disclosed, however.
