ThyssenKrupp Elevator, a subsidiary ThyssenKrupp had received orders in China and Colombia. ThyssenKrupp Elevator will be responsible for the delivery of a total of 77 passenger boarding bridges, 98 escalators and 34 moving walks for the new Kunming Changshui International Airport in China, which is expected to open in early 2012. In addition, the company has been contracted to supply 39 elevators, 20 escalators, 16 moving walks and 33 passenger boarding bridges for a new terminal at Bogota Eldorado International Airport in Colombia, due for completion in 2014.

ThyssenKrupp Elevator Corporation has received a follow-up order for the delivery of 19 elevators and 31 escalators in Bulgaria. The 50 units, which represent the biggest ThyssenKrupp Elevator's order in Bulgaria, are intended for the expansion of the metro system in Sofia.
