SmithAmundsen LLC announced the opening of an Indianapolis office which expands both the scope of services offered by the firm and its geographic presence in the Midwest. Dennis Schell is a licensed patent attorney and brings more than ten years of experience representing individuals and companies in matters involving patent prosecution, patent litigation and opinions. Industries served by Dennis include electronics, software, medical device, transportation, sporting goods, communication, process control, security and defense, construction, and agriculture. Eric Lamb has prosecuted both trademark and copyright applications in the U.S. and assists clients with the management of their international IP portfolios. He advises clients on legal issues stemming from the internet and social media networks. Eric litigates both intellectual property and general civil matters. Alyssa Rogers is an experienced corporate attorney who has successfully negotiated and closed numerous business transactions ranging up to $30 million in diverse industries such as manufacturing, health care services, financial services and automotive dealers and auctions. William H. Weir Joins SmithAmundsen LLC as Partner for Insurance Practice Group

SmithAmundsen LLC announced that Brigadier Gen. William H. Weir has joined for insurance practice group as a partner. Weir, who has more than 35 years of experience as an attorney, a business law instructor and a judge in the 16th Circuit, also served in the Marines and Army for nearly 35 years. Prior to joining SmithAmundsen, he was a partner and trial lawyer with a law firm in the Western suburbs of Chicago.

SmithAmundsen LLC Adds Two Veteran Attorneys to St. Louis Office

SmithAmundsen LLC announced that two veteran attorneys have joined the law firm of SmithAmundsen as partners in St. Louis, Mo. The attorneys are Francis "Butch" Miller of the former Gallop, Johnson & Neuman firm and W. Jeffrey Muskopf, formerly of Lashly & Baer. These attorneys were chosen strategically based on the complimentary skill sets they bring to SmithAmundsen's thriving St. Louis office. Francis "Butch" Miller concentrates his practice in real estate and corporate law. W. Jeffrey Muskopf is a complex litigation and appellate attorney with an emphasis on product liability, toxic torts, the defense of financial institutions, consumer fraud, commercial litigation, insurance coverage, and class actions.
