uShip and eBay Inc. announced an agreement for Larger-Than-Parcel (LTP) delivery. uShip-powered delivery options will be incorporated across eBay categories that frequently contain LTP goods over 150lbs and buyer-arranged shipping. Initially available in eBay Motors' U.S. vehicles, motorcycles, powersports and boats, more categories will be added this spring. Within a year, uShip will be integrated into global eBay properties, more deeply into listings and in the buyer checkout process.

uShip Appoints Bob Bearden as Chief Financial Officer

uShip announced Internet travel marketplace, ecommerce and retail finance veteran Bob Bearden has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Over the past 20 years, Bearden has served as CFO of Hotels.com, Expedia.com Global Operations, Travelocity.com and IntentMedia.com. He has also held a senior finance position at truckloadsusa.com and a corporate development role at SABRE. In this newly-created position, Bearden will oversee uShip's strategic financial planning, debt/equity financing, operational financing, budgeting, forecasting and capital investments, as well as the company's accounting team.
