Compusearch Unveils PRISM 7.2 in Federal and DoD Compliant Acquisition and Contract Lifecycle Management
Jun 25 13
Compusearch has unveiled PRISM 7.2, the radical technology breakthrough in Federal and DoD compliant acquisition and contract lifecycle management in more than a decade. Completely redesigned with an adaptive and dynamic user experience that fully supports mobile and social workforce, PRISM encourages and optimizes collaboration between program offices and the contracting community that supports them. PRISM is widely used within the Federal and DoD landscape by more than 100 organizations worldwide, including the vast majority of Cabinet-level agencies and offices, some of whom work in and support missions in some of the most austere environments around the globe. PRISM has proven time and again that it works equally well in an on premise, in the cloud, or in a shared services environment. It is this wide breadth of experience that has earned PRISM the reputation as a highly successful and low risk solution. Now with release of version 7.2, PRISM takes a dramatic leap forward to deliver innovation inspired by the rapid changes in digital technology and the government community. Compusearch's clients will receive the transformative PRISM 7.2 version as part of their existing contracts, having benefitted from the collective experience and perspective of the entire federal acquisition community. PRISM 7.2 provides the next-generation of acquisition and contract lifecycle management support and it is only the beginning of what Compusearch has planned for this community. With this latest release, PRISM moves well beyond game changing to redefining the benchmarks of what it takes to be a modern Federal and DoD acquisition and contract lifecycle management solution.
Compusearch to Supply and Implement PRISM as WMATA's New Contract Lifecycle Management System
Apr 18 13
Compusearch(R) announced it has been awarded the prime contract to implement its PRISM solution as the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority's (WMATA) new Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) System. The value of the award is $4,023,795. Compusearch will replace WMATA's manual procurement system with a proven web-based COTS solution. The new CLM, which will be interoperable with WMATA's PeopleSoft-based financial management system, will deliver better customer services, support improved visibility, transparency, and control over WMATA's resources, enhance management reporting, and optimize the productivity and performance of the Authority's acquisition workforce and other users of the integrated CLM system.
Government Cloud Services Provider Deploys PRISM Interface to Oracle Release 12 with Assistance from Compusearch Software Systems, Inc
Feb 4 13
Compusearch Software Systems, Inc. announced that a Government Shared Services Provider (SSP) has deployed an interface between PRISM-Procurement and the Oracle Release 12 (R12) financial management system. The purpose of the integration is to promote consistency between procurement documents and their associated financial actions. As a result the Bureau of the Public Debt's (BPD) Administrative Resource Center (ARC) offers a state-of-the-art financial management system compliant with the Common Government-wide Account Classification (CGAC) structure. Instead of upgrading to R12, BPD-ARC chose to implement a new R12 instance and to migrate BPD-ARC's clients from Oracle Financials 11i. The client migration took place in waves beginning in July 2012 and concluding in December 2012. This approach necessitated that Compusearch support two PRISM to Oracle interfaces simultaneously, one with Oracle Financials 11i and the other with R12. Within this move to R12, BPD-ARC implemented Project Accounting and changed from an 11 segment account structure to a 14-segment structure with different values for each segment.
