NanoScale Corporation Key Developments
NanoScale Corporation announced it has been awarded a Phase II Small Business Technology Transfer contract by the U.S. Army Research Office to develop bimetallic nanoparticle catalysts for fuel cell applications. During the contract, NanoScale will optimize the catalytic system and scale up the catalyst synthesis. NanoScale has great experience in synthesis, characterization, and manufacture of metal nanoparticles and nanocrystalline metal oxides. This collaboration with Kansas State University and Prof. Keith Hohn, an expert in catalytic systems for reforming hydrocarbons into hydrogen, will result in a prototype reactor that will be validated by the Army.
