Allscripts has announced the launch of Sunrise Version 6.1, the company's acute electronic health record, or EHR. Sunrise 6.1 is certified for Meaningful Use 2014, incorporating the requirements of both Meaningful Use Stage 1 and 2. With the enhancements to Sunrise 6.1, clinicians will realize a number of important benefits including Clinical performance management which allows clinicians to monitor clinical performance, helps them improve patient outcomes and reduce costs. With prebuilt or customized reports and dashboards, clinicians now have powerful access to performance information, enabling quality improvement across the health enterprise from EHRs.
