Hearst Television Inc. announced that David J. Barrett has been named as chairman and CEO and Jordan Wertlieb has been named as president of the company. Both promotions are effective immediately. Barrett was named president and CEO of Hearst-Argyle Television in 2001. He had a six-year tenure as deputy general manager of Hearst Broadcasting and four years as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Hearst-Argyle Television. Wertlieb was named executive vice president of Hearst Television in January 2011.

Hearst Television Inc. Names Justin Antoniotti as News Director at its WTAE-TV

Justin Antoniotti has been named news director at Hearst Television Inc.'s WTAE-TV. Antoniotti will oversee the overall news operation of Channel 4 Action News, WTAE.com, and WTAE mobile applications. His appointment, announced by WTAE President & General Manager Michael J. Hayes, begins immediately. Antoniotti comes to WTAE from Hearst Television sister-station WYFF 4 in Greenville, SC. During his tenure as news director, WYFF 4 expanded local newscasts and launched a primetime news magazine, "Chronicle," which earned the Peabody Award from the University of Georgia's Grady College of Journalism in 2010.
