Ebbe Altberg Joins Linden Lab as CEO

Linden Lab announced that Ebbe Altberg will lead the company as its new Chief Executive Officer. Most recently prior to joining the company, Altberg was COO of BranchOut. He has more than 25 years of experience managing teams that create world-class products and services also includes leadership roles at Ingenio (acquired by at&t Interactive) and Microsoft.

Linden Lab Launches Versu(TM) for iPad

Linden Lab announced the launch of Versu, a new character-driven interactive fiction platform that immerses readers in living stories. Versu is available for free for iPad on the App Store. Versions for Android devices will be released soon. The initial version of Versu for iPad is available on February 14, 2013 for free on the App Store. In addition to a brief tutorial, an interactive scene adapted from Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and an original playable ghost story by Emily Short, titled "The House on a Cliff," are included with the free app. Another playable story by Short, a murder mystery titled, "A Family Supper," is available on February 14, 2013 for $4.99 and additional titles in a variety of genres will be periodically added.

Linden Research, Inc. Brings Creatorverse(TM) to Android

Linden Research, Inc. announced that Creatorverse is now available for Android(TM) devices on Google Play. The company recently also released the app for iPad on the App Store, and for Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD on Amazon. Creatorverse is a two-dimensional shared creative space, a digital canvas on which can build unique creations, set them in motion, and share them with the world to enjoy and remix.
