An Vien Television(AVG) Along with SMIT and Samsung Jointly Launches to Provide IDTV+CAM Solutions to Vietnamese Audience

An Vien Television (AVG), along with SMIT and Samsung jointly launched to provide IDTV+CAM solutions to Vietnamese audience. The solution, which includes Samsung's integrated digital TV (IDTV), AVG's HDTV programs and SMiT's conditional access module (CAM), is facility embedded inside the IDTV allowing the subscribers' interactive watching experience without the need for a set-top box (STB). AVG is the first Pay-TV operator offering IDTV+CAM solutions in the Vietnam market. The new TV program packages will be bound with Samsung's all-in-one set. As AVG's CAM supplier, SMIT offers the latest CI+CAM to provide maximum protection for the content security and stronger hardware support for compliance with functions that may be available in the future, including but not limited to VOD, PVR, Time-shift, etc.

SMiT Announces Joint Launch of Merged Television System with IQiYi and TCL

SMiT announced joint launch of 'merged television system' with IQiYi and TCL to integrate a preponderance of internet videos and the interactive watching experience with live high-definition cable programs. The system merges cloud platform and internet video content services into a smart terminal. To enjoy the convenience of the system, users only need to plug the 'merged television-mate' into the USB port of a smart television or set-top box and start the corresponding application.

SMiT Corporation Develops CAM for BoomTV Services in Macedonia

SMiT Corporation is working with BoomTV to release a Viaccess CAM for subscribers in Macedonia. SMiT's CAM offers a set of features to meet the various business demands of the pay-TV industry. And, SMiT's CAM Series fully complies with the Viaccess standard. CAMs are expected to be the preferred choice in the market as they maximize the simplification of use and are also energy efficient. Along with SMiT's expansion into the Macedonia market with this cooperation with BoomTV, more and more Balkan subscribers are interested in CAM's simplicity, convenience and low cost. SMiT has been focusing on the development of this market and its business in the Balkans keeps increasing.
