Nexxo Financial Corporation Key Developments
Nexxo Financial Corporation will demonstrate its next generation solutions for alternative financial services at retail financial services conference, BAI (Bank Administration Institute) Retail Delivery 2012 on October 9th, 2012. BAI attendees will see how Nexxo brings a portfolio of new technology solutions to banks, credit unions, and retailers eager to serve the growing under banked population. Nexxo will highlight the new Desktop Money Station (DMS), an easily deployed Web application that supports teller-assisted transactions at customer service counters or bank branches. The DMS integrates multiple vendors, such as bill payment providers, check cashers and money transmitters, so that banks can offer streamlined services to the under banked consumers and choose from a variety of vendors without extensive delays or set-up costs. Nexxo's DMS simplifies the tellers' job with its single, consistent interface, reducing both training time and errors. The DMS delivers fully compliant and fraud-resistant services, complete with accounting and other transaction-handling policies. It runs on the same Everyday Financial Services (EFS) platform already proven in Nexxo's kiosks. Along with DMS, Nexxo will demo the K3000 and the K2000, the only self-serve kiosks offering a full suite of EFS services including: check cashing; prepaid card loading; bill pay; money transmission; money order purchase; phone minute top-up; and cash withdrawal.
Carver Federal Savings Bank announced that by partnering with Nexxo Financial Corporation, the company is adding four user-friendly kiosks at ATMs around New York City where underbanked consumers can access alternative financial services conveniently and affordably. Nexxo developed this technology to bring a full range of services together in one unique bank-in-a-box kiosk. Carver is redefining banking by launching a suite of product and services through Carver Community Cash, allowing more of community residents who have been marginalized to enter or re-enter the banking system. Carver was intrigued with one-stop shopping solution. Now their customers can simply register once, complete most transactions within one minute, and be remembered on their next visit. Nexxo technology has been successfully used by retailers for more than six years at 200+ locations in California alone. In fact, Nexxo has processed more than $1 billion at these retail, grocery, and convenience stores. Now financial services companies are seeking to partner with Nexxo to expand their own services.
Centris Federal Credit Union, in partnership with Nexxo Financial Corporation, is taking the lead in offering this underserved community a full suite of financial services not currently available at other banks or credit unions. Using Nexxo's customer-friendly kiosks, Centris members can now conveniently access these expanded services at eight branches and grocery stores.
