CE Info Systems May see some stake sale. Krishna Vinjamuri, Principal at Lightbox Ventures confirmed, "As a financial investor, we have to show liquidity to our own investors. We invested in the first round in 2006 and MapmyIndia has done very well. Other investors will also be happy to exit as we need to return the money to our LPs." However, Karthee Madasamy, Vice President and Managing Director - India and Israel, Qualcomm Ventures said, "We are not intending to exit from the company unless the offer is irresistible." According to the sources privy to the development told Techcircle.in., atleast two among Lightbox Ventures managed by Lightbox Management Ltd, Nexus Venture Partners and QUALCOMM Ventures are considering to exit their investments in CE Info Systems Pvt Ltd.
LIQVID In Talks To Raise Funds

LIQVID eLearning Services Pvt Ltd. is seeking a second round of equity funding up to $10 million and has begun early stage discussions with Nexus Venture Partners, Matrix Partners India, among others, according to people with direct knowledge of the negotiations. A successful deal could value the company at about $50 million. The company expects to use the funding to expand into international markets, including South-East Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America as well as build its mobile business. According to Economic Times, Vivek Agarwal, cofounder and Chief Executive of Liqvid declined to comment on the proposed transaction, a spokeswoman for Nexus Venture Partners said the fund had not invested in Liqvid while Matrix Partners India did not respond to email queries. It could not be ascertained f SBI Holdings, Inc. (TSE:8473) will participate in this latest round.
