Amobee Launches New 3D AD Platform
Sep 19 13
Amobee, has launched a new platform, PULSE 3D, which will help the firm create more realistic 3D ads for both iOS and Android mobile devices. 'PULSE 3D is art (meeting) science. It allows to render 3D ads and advertising that's almost better than lifelike'. This new platform is a refinement of existing technology that Amobee acquired when it bought out 3D mobile ad firm AdJitsu for an undisclosed sum last year. Amobee has a similarly bullish view of another more recent acquisition - real-time bidding platform company Gradient X, which it bought for USD 15 million earlier September. This real-time platform acts like an automated exchange for advertising, where thousands of publishers are matched up with advertisers. On the platform, advertisers are allowed to customize their requirements through thousands of variables, including where the ad should run geographically, what type of device it should run on and what sort of demographic it should target.
