Enfucell Oy announced that Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, former CEO of Nokia Corporation, has joined the company as an angel-investor and advisor.
YD Ynvisible, S.A. and Enfucell Oy have collaborated on an integrated prototype for the 2011 edition of the Large-area, Organic and Printed Electronics Convention (LOPE-C) in Frankfurt. The integrated prototype included Enfucell's SoftBattery(R), a thin, printed, 1.5 V, environmentally-friendly battery, which powered an Ynvisible interactive display, generating an end application that was printed and flexible. Both companies are now looking to extend this partnership in order to pursue integrated commercial applications and joint development projects. Potential joint products include magazine covers, greeting cards and packaging solutions.
