On September 24, 2012, the Board of Directors of Hormel Foods Corp. received notice of the upcoming retirements of Richard A. Bross and Ronald W. Fielding. Mr. Bross will retire as group vice president of the company and president of Hormel Foods International Corporation, effective December 31, 2012. Mr. Fielding's retirement as executive vice president of corporate strategy, planning and development for the company is tentatively planned for January 27, 2013. James P. Snee, vice president of Hormel Foods, senior vice president of HFIC, will replace Bross in the position of group vice president of Hormel Foods, president of HFIC, effective October 29, 2012. Fred D. Halvin, director of corporate development, will assume responsibility for corporate development in the position of vice president, corporate development, effective October 29, 2012.
Hormel Foods Corp. announced the retirement of James R. Hoffman, vice president of Hormel Foods International Corporation (HFIC) for the Americas, effective January 27, 2012. Maureen A. Lilly will succeed Hoffman as vice president of HFIC for the Americas. She will oversee the sales and marketing of consumer products and foodservice for Canada, the Caribbean, Central America, Mexico and South America. Lilly joined Hormel Foods in 2003 as the HFIC international sales and marketing manager for Canada. She will start her new responsibilities on January 30, 2012, upon Jim's retirement. Cheryl Berry will replace Lilly as HFIC international sales and marketing manager for Canada. She will oversee the sales and marketing of consumer products and foodservice for Canada. Her experience includes working as the region account manager at Golden Gate Margarine, region account manager at Unilever and director of private label sales and marketing at E.D. Smith & Sons.
Hormel Foods Corp. has appointed Maureen Lilly as vice president of Hormel Foods International Corporation, or HFIC, for the Americas. James Snee was appointed as vice president at Hormel Foods and senior vice president of HFIC. Snee joined Hormel Foods in 1989 in the foodservice division of the company and served in various positions within the group before being named manager of inventory and distribution for the Refrigerated Foods segment in 1995.
