Digi-Key Corporation, Inc. announced a global distribution agreement with E Ink Corporation. This partnership allows Digi-Key to offer E-Ink's innovative, standard segmented displays to their worldwide customer base. Unique to the industry, the E Ink's electronic paper displays (EPD) offer ultra-low power performance, a small form factor, and rugged operation. The reflective display technology used in EPDs allows display of an image even with no power connected. This enables engineers and designers to add displays to products where power and space limitations have made it impossible to do so in the past.

E Ink Corporation has inked a deal with a Burlington-based commercial property manager to move into 140,000 square-feet of office space on Technology Park Drive in Billerica. The corporation is making a $30 million investment to renovate its new Billerica headquarters and has signed an agreement clause to hire local labor.
