CANAL + SA Announces Earnings Results for the Year Ended December 2013
Feb 25 14
CANAL + SA announced earnings results for the year ended December 2013. For the year, the company’s revenues were €5,311 million, a 5.9% increase year-on-year. This growth was primarily driven by the development of pay-TV operations outside of France, notably in Africa and Poland, and by the acquisition and successful re-launch of the free-to-air channels D8 and D17. Excluding transition costs related to D8, D17 and the new operations in Poland, the company’s EBITA was €661 million, down 1.9% compared to 2012.
