The World Trust Fund is a closed-ended equity mutual fund of funds launched and managed by Lazard Asset Management, LLC. It invests in public equity markets across the globe. The fund seeks to invest in stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. It primarily invests either directly or through closed-end funds, investment trusts, and holding companies in value stocks of companies. The fund benchmarks the performance of its portfolio against the MSCI All Country World Index. The World Trust Fund was formed on June 20, 1991 and is domiciled in Luxembourg.

The World Trust Fund Appoints Tony C. Morrongiello as Non-Executive Director, with Effect from August 19, 2014

The Board of The World Trust Fund announced the appointment of Mr. Tony C. Morrongiello as a new non-executive director with effect from August 19, 2014 subject to election as a director at the annual general meeting of shareholders to be held on the same day. Mr. Morrongiello is currently the CEO of Altin AG. From 2005 to 2012, he was a Managing Partner of Caliburn Capital, an alternative institutional fund management platform and for the five years prior to that he was Chief Executive Officer of 3A. Mr. Morrongiello was previously General Manager of Merrill Lynch Capital Markets Bank in Milan.
