Fiberlink Announces MaaS360 for Windows Phone 8 Secures Mobile Email and Browsing

Fiberlink announced that the MaaS360 Secure Productivity Suite now provides support for Windows Phone 8 with secure email, calendar, contacts and browser. With these new capabilities, MaaS360 continues to make it easy for organizations to securely separate corporate data from personal data on Windows devices. MaaS360 Secure Productivity Suite delivers a Trusted WorkPlace environment for iOS, Android and Windows Phone. This is especially helpful for businesses that need stringent security policy and compliance controls, such as those in the highly regulated healthcare and financial services industries. The solution is also ideal for BYOD models, consultants and vendors that need to securely share content and collaborate without managing and controlling the actual devices. Where iOS and Android devices have been widely adopted as BlackBerry replacements for several years, Windows Phone 8 is just beginning to see broader adoption in the U.S. and in Europe.

Bradford Networks and Fiberlink Announces Strategic Partnership to Develop an Integrated Solution

Bradford Networks and Fiberlink announced a strategic partnership. Through this partnership the companies have developed an integrated solution that combines Bradford Networks' award-winning network access control (NAC) solution, Network Sentry, with Fiberlink's MaaS360 mobility management platform to enable secure Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) across networks, devices and applications. Network Sentry provisions safe, role-based network access, based on user, device, location and time of day. MaaS360 enables businesses to quickly enforce mobile policies that boost productivity, protect employee privacy, and secure sensitive data on mobile devices. The Network Sentry/MaaS360 integration enables customers to ensure that devices and users have appropriate network access and that each device is compliant based on pre-defined policies, configurations are up to date, and no unauthorized applications are installed. The integrated Network Sentry/MaaS360 solution is generally available. Key benefits includes rapid deployment with seamless employee onboarding for BYOD programs and corporate issued devices; Ability to identify mobile devices that are registered with MaaS360 and provision network access based on pre-defined policies; Auto-provision and proactively monitor mobile devices for security and compliance management; Identify and isolate non-compliant, jail broken and rooted devices and redirect them to self-remediation through a web portal; Provides a complete inventory of all applications on each MaaS360 registered device to minimize vulnerabilities and protect against security breaches. The Bradford Networks/MaaS360 integration utilizes Bradford Networks' Network Sentry SmartEdge Platform(TM), an open Application Programmer Interface (API) that enables industry-leading security, mobility management, and wired/wireless vendors to easily integrate with Network Sentry and create holistic solutions for secure BYOD.
