Company Overview of Celsense, Inc.
Celsense, Inc., a biotechnology company, provides magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast agents that enable scientists and clinicians to monitor the position and quantity of transplanted cells non-invasively in vivo. It offers Cell Sense, an MRI cell tracer reagent; Gene Sense, a DNA-encoded marker that genetically programs cells to express their own contrast agent; and V-sense, a fluorine-based MRI tracer agent, as well as Workstation software platform, a Windows based image management system. The company also provides Voxel Tracker that allows researchers to manipulate and quantify molecular imaging data by merging images produced from various imaging scanners. Its products are used to ...

Celsense, Inc. Launches Another Dual-Mode Version of its Inflammation Imaging Reagent, V- Sense
Jan 21 13
Celsense, Inc. announced the launch of another dual-mode version of its inflammation imaging reagent, V- Sense. V-Sense is an injectable perfluorocarbon magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) tracer agent that labels leukocytes in situ, enabling the non-invasive visualization and quantification of localized inflammation. The newly introduced dual-mode agent V-Sense DM NIR provides investigators with a tool to accelerate preclinical validation studies using in vivo near-infrared (NIR) imaging systems as well as MRI. V-Sense DM NIR provides a stable signal for serial in vivo imaging over extended time periods. V-Sense DM NIR can be used in laboratories where MRI is not readily available for routine experiments, and MRI data can be confirmed by optical imaging.
