Mobily along with Jasper Wireless, Inc. announced an agreement to wirelessly connect machine-to-machine (M2M) and consumer electronics devices in Saudi Arabia. The Jasper Wireless platform is a cloud-based solution that will enable Mobily to quickly and at low cost connect devices across its network. Jasper Wireless will provide Mobily with the necessary applications and services to profitably connect and manage a range of embedded wireless devices across myriad verticals including automotive telematics and infotainment, consumer electronics, smart metering and building automation. As more and more devices come to market with embedded connectivity, market success depends on finding the right business models to service different verticals and consumers globally. Jasper Wireless has developed the applications and services that support highly flexible business models as well as the automation of operational processes, including custom device provisioning, instant activation, real-time diagnostic tools and detailed billing and usage reports, ensuring a superior out-of-box end-user experience.
Jasper Wireless, Inc. announced an agreement with Claro Brazil to wirelessly connect machine-to-machine (M2M) and consumer electronics devices in Brazil. Claro Brazil is deploying the Jasper Wireless platform in order to quickly and efficiently serve M2M customers across its network that runs in over 2,000 cities across the country. Jasper Wireless will provide Claro Brazil with global visibility of all SIMs connected to the mobile network and robust self-service tools for provisioning, real-time diagnostics and usage controls, providing Claro Brazil and its customers with a fast time-to-market for new connected devices and applications and excellent customer support. The agreement with Claro, owned by America Movil, is an extension of Jasper's service in the South American market and of Jasper's relationship with Claro. The agreement will lead the way for innovative M2M applications and services in such verticals as remote monitoring, digital signage, fleet tracking, tele-health, telematics and mobile payments.
