With the cooperation of the world renowned company Huawei, Umniah Telecom wrapped up the first round of live field tests prior to the commercial launch of the first 4G LTE broadband wireless internet service in Jordan. 4G LTE is the latest advancement in the world of technology aimed at quadrupling the speed of wireless internet access; reaching an internet speed of 130 Mbps. Umniah to launch the new iPhone 5 in Jordan. Umniah announced that the iPhone 5 is offered only to U Line EVO subscribers from its main showroom. Consequently, Umniah's subscribers will have the opportunity to own the latest and most advanced smartphone after its initial launch two weeks ago. The iPhone 5 requires a sophisticated Nano Sim Card which Umniah was the first to provide in the region.
